November 2015 Meeting

Hi all,

Hope everyone is enjoying what seems like our first FALL weekend. I don’t know about you but I am more than done with temps in the 90s.

I want to thank everybody who signed up at the last meeting for one of the committees. We can still use help, particularly when it comes to set-up and clean-up at meetings. If you’re able to lend a hand, let me know or sign the clipboards that will be at the meeting on 11/21. Remember, many hands mean a lighter load!

Speaking of 11/21……….remember due to Thanksgiving Holiday, we’ve moved up our monthly meeting to the THIRD Saturday this month. We’ll be sharing our struggles and successes when dealing with hearing loss during the Holidays. We’ll also be sharing lots of great FOOD with a potluck. The chapter will again provide coffee and juices along with “light” breakfast goodies. We ask that you bring something to share that is more brunch/lunch type food. We plan to serve the potluck toward the end of the program and let the meeting run to 12:30ish so we can all enjoy the food and fellowship.

Speaking of fellowship and food, don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Annual HLAA-LA Holiday Party on December 12 at the Moorpark home of Nancy Gray. You’re welcome to come any time after 4pm to help set up and start the fun. Dinner will be served around 5:30. Address and more details will be posted soon.

Hope to see you all on 11/21!

Pat
